Romance and Mystery

Three reviews with something in common.

Sizzle by Julie Garwood

“Definitely a romantic mystery.  Not my kind of book!  I was fooled by the jacket and the mentioning of an FBI agent.  The story is about a film student that accidently takes something valuable from a sleazy gangster.  The story then unfolds with her needing personal protection and this "Greek God" FBI agent is assigned to her.  Lots of small plots involving her family and a small time looser criminal that continues to try and outsmart himself only to find that everything he tries just fizzles. Not recommended for real mystery stories reader.”

Smokin Seventeen by Janet Evanovich

“Once again, Janet Evanovich wrote a funny and thrilling book. I love her Stephanie Plum series. This story was an easy and entertaining read. I have to admit I figured out who the murderer was in the beginning but it was still a great book to read. There were several parts that were laugh out loud funny.”

Silence by Becca Fitzpatrick

“The third in the Hush, Hush series....mystery, romance, paranormal
....awesome read. Can't wait for the fourth and final book in the series. I want to know what happens to the loving couple...”
