Cold Day in July by Stella Cameron
“The book was full of suspense all the way to the last page and I really
enjoyed reading it. Not familiar with the author, I was surprised with the detailed romantic activities. I also wished there was more closure to the story.”

The Private Patient by P D James
“ This is a delightful English mystery involving our favorite detective, Adam Dalgliesh, and his team.  The victim is a celebrity investigative reporter, a scar on her face she has decided to have repaired, her murder, and the age old question, "who done it".  The murder and entire story takes place in a restored English manor house converted into a part time clinic and rehab facility.  The reporter is murdered, the Commander called in by Whitehall, and the entire staff is questioned.  The plot demands that close attention is paid to each character, their background, and the oisutuib they have in the clinic.  The ending caught me off guard but it was a classic PD James.  If you like English Mysteries, this is for you.  Respectfully submitted.....”
